Iron and steel casting at the Kredmash plant
The first melting took place at the plant on April 29, 1961. Since that time, technology has been constantly improved. Today we can proudly say that cast iron, produced by PJSC Kredmash from wear-resistant cast iron Ni-hard-KD competes with the best European and global brands in the market.
In January 2019, as part of the modernization of the foundry, a furnace installation (900 + 150 kW) Duet Power 500 was installed with two 1.5 t crucibles by the Turkish company INDEMAK.
New equipment provides improved strength characteristics of the melted metal.
