Modernization for mixers ABZ DS-168 and KDM201

There are two options for the shafts of the DS-168 mixer

1. 1st version of the modernization of the mixer for asphalt plant:

The use of 8-row double-shoulder layout of the blades and racks on the shafts of the mixer with an increased area of the blades compared with the old scheme. In this case, the time of complete mixing of the fine-grained mixture will be approximately 25 seconds. However, due to the increased current loads, it is necessary to replace the standard 55 kW motor with a 75 kW motor (750 RPM), as well as starting equipment in the operator’s cabin. The 55 kW and 75 kW engines have the same height of the centers and the size of the output shafts, differing only in the connecting dimensions. It is necessary to expand the base plate of the engine, in which two additional holes are made.

2. 2nd version of modernization of asphalt mixing plants: 

The use of a 7-row double-shoulder layout of the blades and racks on the shafts of the mixer. This is a cheaper version of the modernization of the mixers, in which, without replacing the standard engine, uniform mixing of the mixture is provided while reducing the mixing time to 10 ... 15%. As in the 1st version, the blades and racks of the new configuration with enhanced mechanical properties are applied.

There is also a modernization of the KDM 201 mixer among the last completed projects of PJSC Kredmash.

The following option is offered for shafts of KDM201 mixer:

Application of 5-row double-shoulder blade and stand layout on mixer shafts of similar design

There are also two options for installing end protectors for DS-168 and KDM201:

• Option 1: end armor plates installed on the top and bottom of the shaft axis (Figure 1);
• Option 2: end armor plates are installed only at the bottom (Figure 2).

For option 1, you must purchase the DS-16837M 55.01.600-Ч

Set of armor plate end (fasteners included in the assembly).

For option 2, it is necessary to purchase DS-16837M 55.01.600-01-H Set of armor plates (fasteners included in the assembly).

To install a new end protection, you need to cut holes in the end walls of the mixer.
